Holiday & Winter time usually calls for Decorating with all sorts of colors. I have always loved the color green its such a versatile color and can go with any decor or season.
Here are 4 tips for using Green with pops of other colors during the Holidays:
1. Use different Shades of Green
This bright green goes perfect with the backdrop of all the other items I have in white. The grinch looks great in this color and I also used a Magnolia kitchen towel which has a pop of green that I got last season at Target part of the Hearth & Hand collection Chip & Joanna promote.
2. Pick some non-holidays items to decorate with
Candy Anyone? Candy is a great way to decorate. During the holidays you can always find amazing colorful treats that you can decorate all over the house. You can have a fun cupcake display like below. I found great Christmas & Holiday cupcake recipes on Pinterest.
This pic the green is a little more of a forest green. I just fell in love with these marshmallow mugs and had to have them. Did I need another mug? These are super tiny and really perfect to decorate with and where swirling all over Pinterest.
4. TAGS & RIBBON & SIGNS
Using green with your gift tags & ribbon is a great way to bring out the festive spirit. Having that green tree its best to put on tags that show a different color to make your tree pop. Walmart has these amazing flock trees I cannot wait to put mine out this year.
I Love adding signs to my decor. How cute are these ones from Tabita at Lemon Grove Design
The pop of blue really makes the other colors in the Christmas Tree Farm sign come to life! She has a great etsy shop with all kinds of custom signs to pick from check her out this holiday you will not be disappointed!
Using a little green ribbon really makes the package pop instead of just using all green or white.
